October 15 has no owner yet

On October 15, 1815, Napoleon Bonaparte arrived at the island of Saint Helena, in the South Atlantic, to serve his final exile after the defeat at Waterloo. The former master of Europe would spend the last six years of his life there, dictating his memoirs and constructing his own myth. He died on May 5, 1821, aged 51, possibly poisoned with arsenic.

On October 15, 1917, dancer and spy Mata Hari was executed by firing squad in Vincennes, France, accused of spying for Germany during World War I. Although her guilt was never conclusively proven, she became one of the most enduring myths in the history of espionage and a symbol of the femme fatale and the double life.

On October 15, 2003, China launched Shenzhou 5 with taikonaut Yang Liwei aboard, becoming the third country in the world to independently send humans into space, after the US and the USSR. Yang Liwei orbited the Earth fourteen times in twenty-one hours, returning to a hero's welcome.
