September 25 has no owner yet

On September 25, 1513, Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa became the first European to see the Pacific Ocean from the American continent, after crossing the Panama isthmus on foot. Four days later he reached the coast and claimed the sea in the name of the Spanish Crown. The Pacific became known as the South Sea.

On September 25, 1789, the United States Congress approved the ten amendments that would form the Bill of Rights, guaranteeing fundamental freedoms such as speech, religion and press. Ratified in 1791, these ten amendments became the foundation of individual rights in American democracy.

On September 25, 1066, King Harold II of England defeated Norwegian King Harald Hardrada at the Battle of Stamford Bridge, ending Viking claims to the English throne. Just three days later, Harold had to march south to face the other pretender: William the Conqueror, to whom he would lose at Hastings on October 14.
